It a Supreme Court Begun and held at Ottawa, an Tuesday the Seventh day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty- six within and for the Northern grand Division of the State of Illinois.

Be it Remembered that afterwards, to-wit: on the 26th day of November, A. D. 1886, there was filed in the Clerk's office of said Court, a certain transcript of the record and proceedings of the Criminal Court of Cook County, (the same being contained in Seventeen volumes marked respectively "1", "A", "B", "C", "D", "E", "F", "G", "H", "I", "J", "K", "L", "M", "N", "Exhibits", and "O",) in a certain cause entitled in this Court:

August Spies, Michael Schwab, Samuel Fielden, Albert R.Parsons, Adolph Fischer, George Engel, Louis Lingg, and Oscar W. Neebe

The People of the State of Illinois.

No. 1588 1 P. D. Error to the Criminal Court of Cook County.
