Report of meeting of the Northside Group at 58 Clybourn Avenue.

The following resolutions were adopted:

This assembly declares that the North Side Group I. A. A. pledged itself to work with all means for the introduction of the eight hour day, beginning on the 1st of May, 1886. At the same time the North Side Group cautions the working man not to meet the enemy unarmed on the first of May. And it brands as a slander the remarks made in the meeting of the C. L. U. in regard to the position of the Internationals and the Arbeiter Zeitung in regard to the eight hour movement. The North Side Group requests the working men of Chicago to eliminate from their meetings demagogues and slanderers who have sneaked into their meetings, and out of personal motives set working man against working man, to the pleasure of the capitalists and their press.
