THE ALARM, February 6th, 1886.

Captain Bonfield has addressed a letter to the public in which the esteemed gentleman candidly makes the statement that, but for his interference and clubbing at the car-men strike in this city last July, many a noble American sovereign who is now the pride of his family would fill the felon's cell or the grave. Paste this into your hats, American sovereigns, and do not forget that the felon's cell or the grave awaits your sacred corpses just as soon as you try to exercise your "rights", as soon as you attempt to throw off the fetters of slavery! If you don't like this get a gun, get dynamite!
