THE ALARM.

Nov.22nd, 1884.

THIS PAPER.

This paper is owned and controlled by the International Working people's Association. The Association is supported by it, and will continue to do so until it will support itself. It is published in the interest of no man or click, or for any particular locality. It is published by the public spirit of working people for public good, and every cent received from subscribers or any other contribution makes just so much larger circulation, a larger sheet and more reading matter. It is not probable that the size of the sheet will be increased until it becomes self-supporting in its present size. We appeal to the public spirit of all, for here and there a nickel to uphold and increase the work. We do not desire to ask much from any, but a little from those most public-spirited, will give great impetus to the work.
