1 revolver holster: leather, col.; 4 5/16 x 6 1/8 in.
Double action, center fire, .38 caliber revolver. Holster made of rich dark brown leather, sturdily stitched with a revolver outline which is decorated with a raised, carved, 5-point star. Holster is square, not intended to be used with a belt.
Owned by Chicago Police Officer John Schermann. Donated to the Chicago Historical Society by Charles Schermann (CHS 1968.403ab).
